PRO ATHLETE LIST POLICY
Terms and Conditions for Strongman Corporation Canada (SCC) Pro Athletes:
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.1 As a SCC Pro Athlete, you agree to actively participate in at least one SCC Canadian soil show per year to maintain your status within the organization.
1.2 You are required to volunteer, promote, and offer assistance at a minimum of one SCC show per year to support the growth and development of the strongman community in Canada.
1.3 Pro Athletes must conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times, upholding the reputation and values of SCC.
1.4 If circumstances prevent you from participating in a Canadian soil show, prior approval from SCC must be obtained, and a suitable alternative contribution to the community must be arranged.
2. Volunteer and Promotion Responsibilities:
2.1 Pro Athletes must actively volunteer their time and expertise at a minimum of one SCC event each year to assist with event organization, setup, or other tasks as needed.
2.2 Athletes are expected to promote SCC and strongman events through their social media channels, interviews, or any other public platforms to increase awareness and participation.
3. Compliance and Sanctions:
3.1 Failure to fulfill the minimum required duties and responsibilities may result in a review of your status as an SCC Pro Athlete.
3.2 Repeated non-compliance or a pattern of neglecting your obligations may lead to suspension or termination of your Pro Athlete status within SCC.
3.3 Athletes who are not active for a full year without reasonable cause will lose their pro status & will be classified as an amateur athlete through SCC.
4. Amendments:
4.1 SCC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to Pro Athletes in a timely manner.
4.2 By continuing to participate in SCC events as a Pro Athlete, you acknowledge and accept any modifications to the Terms and Conditions.
By accepting your status as an SCC Pro Athlete, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge the importance of fulfilling your duties and responsibilities to support and promote strongman sports in Canada.
